How do I book an apartment on WonderWhereToStay?

To book an apartment you need to be a registered user. Click the Signup button on the top right and register yourself on our website. After the registration, you can book the apartments by choosing your date of arrival and departure on the page of your favourite apartment.

How do I get into my Wonder apartment?

To make sure that you get a smooth start on your stay with us in Rome, we will have one of our collaborators meet you at the apartment for handing over the keys and showing you the facilities. The name and contact info of our collaborator will be sent to you a few days prior to your arrival. In order to organize your check-in we will need your specific arrival details, preferably with your flight number in order to keep track of eventual delays.

How rigid are the check-in and check-out times?

We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins and late check-outs. However, this depends on whether or not we have guests leaving on the day you arrive or arriving on the day you leave. For this reason, we will confirm any requests of early check-in or late check-out within a few days of your arrival. Any such request must be made to the agency by phone or email.

What is included in the Rental price?

The rent includes the use of the entire apartment space, the utilities and the amenities present in the apartment, the final cleaning fee, our agency fees and italian VAT. The use of linens, towels and toiletries present in the apartment is also included in the price. The rent does not include any extra cleaning services although long stays include a weekly refresh of linens, towels and toiletries. Exceptions are possible and are always indicated on the single apartment page.

What happens if I need to change the number of guests or duration of my stay?

If you need to change your stay in any way we ask you to contact us to make arrangements. If the number of guests or the duration of the stay is to be increased, you can simply pay the remaining fee to us in cash or online by card. However, we cannot refund made payments in case the duration of the stay or number of guests is decreased. Should your stay incur in significant changes we ask you to contact us in order to find a solution that suits everyone.

How does the payment work and what happens if I cancel?

When booking an apartment on WonderWhereToStay, we only ask for the non-refundable down-payment. Should you for some reason need to cancel your booking then you will lose said down-payment in full.

Cash or card?

We require an online down payment by card in order to book an apartment. The remaining amount is due either in cash upon arrival or by online payments, according to agreements made prior to your arrival. Further fees due are the refundable security deposit and the Rome City Tax (always due in cash upon arrival; see below for further information). The Security deposit can be paid either in cash upon arrival or by a temporary hold of the amount on your card.

What are your online payment methods?

We have three kinds of online payment methods: Paypal, Bank transfer and Credit Card Payments. The credit card payment is handled by our bank Banca Sella on their secure payment platform, ensured also by Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code.
