Guests:

Booking and Payment Methods In order to book an apartment we require a down payment to be paid through our online payment circuit. The remaining rental fee is to be paid in cash upon arrival or according to agreements made with the property owner/manager. The payment terms are specified in the Booking Voucher.

Booking Changes Should you desire to change your booking, depending on availability, we will try to accommodate any requests or offer alternative options.

Guest Cancellation Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, then you will loose the non-refundable deposit paid when booking the apartment. 

Owner Cancellation – Should the owner of the apartment cancel your booking then we will do our best to provide an equal or superior solution for your stay.

Check-in & Check-outThe check-in and check-out times are indicated on the individual apartment pages. In order to organize your check-in we need your arrival details and should you fail to communicate them in a timely manner we will be unable to provide a satisfactory service. Any request regarding early check-in or late check-out needs to be communicated to WonderWhereToStay by email. We always try to accommodate such requests, however, they depend entirely on whether there are other guests checking out on your day of arrival or checking in on your day of departure.

Apartments: Amenities and featuresThe amenities available in each apartment are published and described on the individual page of each apartment on WonderWhereToStay.com. Towels, linens and utility costs are always included in the rent. In booking an apartment, you accept the amenities and features as they are and any request regarding further features and amenities will depend on the discretion of WonderWhereToStay or of the apartment owner/manager. WonderWhereToStay or the owner of the apartment reserve the right to access the apartment to undertake urgent maintenance of the apartment and its amenities, should need arise.

On Request Apartments When booking an “On Request” apartment you accept the 24 hour timeframe within which WonderWhereToStay or the apartment owner/manager will answer and confirm your request. Should the apartment you requested not be available, nothing will be drawn from your credit card and your card information will be immediately cancelled.

Instant Booking Apartments Instant Bookings are immediately confirmed and the down payment is drawn from your card simultaneously. With your confirmation, you will receive the booking Voucher with your payment details.

Personal Belongings and SafetyWonderWhereToStay and the Owners of the apartments are not liable for the personal belongings of guests nor for their personal safety.

Unforeseen EventsIn the unfortunate event that an apartment become inaccessible due to events beyond our control we reserve the right to provide alternative accommodation of similar or superior level to the one booked originally.

Security Deposit We always require a security deposit in cash upon arrival. If the apartment suffers no damage due to your stay, this deposit will be returned to you upon check-out. The amount of the security deposit is clearly stated both on the individual apartment pages as well as on the booking voucher sent after your confirmed reservation.

Issues –  WonderWhereToStay cannot be held responsible for any potential damages inherent to the stay in the property.

Rome City Tax The city tax is an overnight fee imposed by the Rome City Council. The fee is 3.50 Euro per person per night and applies to all guests above the age of 10 and to all stays of up to 10 nights. This fee is not included in the rental cost and must be paid in cash upon arrival.

 

Apartment Owners:

Exclusive Management The apartment owner declares that he/she is the sole owner/manager of the apartment and as such commits to respecting the responsibility deriving from the reservations.

Cleaning ServiceThe cleaning and linen service is entirely the responsibility of the owner/manager of the apartment. Alternatively, arrangements can be made to include the cleaning and linen service in the commission.

Amenities and Utilities Linens, towels, cooking utensils as well as gas and electricity costs have to be provided for all guests and are to be considered as included in the rental fee.

Check-in & Check-out – The owner/manager is responsible for organizing the check-in and check-out of guests in a satisfactory and timely manner. Alternatively, arrangements can be made to include the check-in and check-out service in the commission. 

Balance Payment  The balance due by the guest is to be paid in cash upon arrival at the property. Should the owner/manager wish to receive the balance in a different manner, then he/she must contact the guest personally to make arrangements.

Commission – We apply a percentage commission to the rate you decide as apartment owner/manager. Our commission is always added to the price decided by the owner/manager of the apartment, never detracted. The owner/manager receives the net amount indicated in the apartment listing. The amount of the commission varies depending on agreements made between the owner and WonderWhereToStay.

Owner Cancellation  – Cancelling reservations will lead to the listing becoming less visible on WonderWhereToStay and we will remove the Instant Booking option. Should the owner/manager cancel further reservations we will block the listing.

Guest Cancellation – Should your guest cancel a confirmed booking then the down payment will be divided according to our commission agreement.

Issues –  WonderWhereToStay cannot be held responsible for any potential damage caused by the guests or by the person in charge of check-in/out on behalf of the owner.

Obbligations – The owner/manager committs to keeping the calendar updated at all times, especially when the listing is in Instant Booking.  The premises of the apartment must be provided in a clean and orderly manner and with the same amenities and services as described in the listing. Should the owner/manager of the apartment not live up to these obligations WonderWhereToStay reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently block the listing, and potentially also the owner, from WonderWhereToStay.com. The owner is responsible for stipulating an insurance policy of civil responsibility regarding the property to cover potential damage suffered by people or things. The owner commits to solving any potential issue or malfunctioning inside the property within 24 hours and in accordance with the guest to gain access to the property.

Listing Contents WonderWhereToStay reserves the right to control, modify and cancel, all or in part, the contents of the listings should valid doubts arise regarding their veracity. Any modification of the listing will be communicated to the owner/manager of the apartment. Any request regarding assistance for listings should be sent directly to WonderWhereToStay. WonderWhereToStay provides both translation and photography services that can be requested when publishing the listing.
